Meetings

Meetings are held on the second Saturday of each month and are hosted at the Summit Credit Union, 10015 W. Greenfield Avenue,
Milwaukee WI  53214. Meetings are open to the public and users of any experience level (or none) are welcome.

Format for the meetings. We may be tweaking this a bit yet, but this is the plan as it sits right now.

1:00pm to 1:30pm  - General chat and discussion
1:30pm to 1:40pm - Group Announcements
1:40pm to 2:45pm - Presentation
2:45pm to ??:?? - General Networking / Help Desk / Q&A / mutual aid

We are trying this new format for a couple of reasons. Having a Help Desk session will allow everyone a chance to help each other with any possible issues individual members may be having. It also allows new users to get acquainted and address any issues getting connected to the wireless network.  There was also a desire to limit the presentations to 1 hour.  This will ensure there is time for members to get to other responsibilities on Saturday and still allow some time for 'Networking' within the group.

The venue requires us to put the tables and chairs into their storage configuration along the south wall of the room; any assistance with that process at the end of the meeting is appreciated.
