Hi All;

  I would love to attend virtually/remotely :-)

I wasn't able to attend the earlier PGP Signing Party even though I was in the Milwaukee area.

Now I am in the Silicon Valley.

My brother wants to sign/encrypt his email and asked me how to do this.

My best idea so far recently was outlined in http://lifehacker.com/software/top/how-to-encrypt-your-email-180878.php but I didn't get a chance to implement it as I've been working 65-90 hour weeks :-)

I chance to do a GPG/PGP Signing Party as people have to see each other to be sure of the other person's identity, no?

Hello,

I updated the wiki page. I decided to just have a very informal key
signing party after the meeting. I am willing to give a mini
presentation on GnuPG at the July meeting if anyone is still interested.
I think it would be cool if some of the other GnuPG users collaborated
with me on the presentation. Here is a list of ideas I have for the
presentation.

1. Crypto basics and how GnuPG uses them.
2. The web of trust.
3. Using GnuPG correctly and safely.
4. GUI front ends for GnuPG.
5. Configuring e-mail clients with GnuPG.
6. Using GnuPG from the CLI.
7. Practical uses of GnuPG (email, signing source code tar balls, etc)

I am willing to cover numbers 1 and 6. The updated party instructions
are at http://milwaukeelug.org/MLUGKeySigningParty. Please read it and
fix any errors you find. Thanks.
